Trucking Companies Still Need to Implement ELDs
The ELD mandate has been in effect since December 18, 2017, and one thing is clear:
The transportation industry transition to ELDs is not finished.
In fact, according to latest studies, 28% of truckers are still not ELD compliant. Meaning out of approximately 3.1 million truckers, 868,000 drivers are still not compliant.
Get Compliant As Soon As Possible
If you are not ELD compliant yet, then there is no time to waste. Between now and April 1, if you don’t have the ELD technology, then your drivers will be cited and fined. Once April 1 rolls around, the out-of-service orders for non-compliant truckers will begin.
Prevent these potential violations and save your business money by complying as soon as possible. If you are still unsure about how to find a reliable ELD vendor in a short time frame, then keep these tips in mind:
Look for reviews from real users on unbiased platforms. Pick technology that is intuitive and easy to implement, to save you from any headaches down the road. Find a vendor that provides 24/7 support from real people. Try calling them, and if you can’t get an answer in a timely manner, then choose a different vendor.
